At a Glance

• The Service: Lumorig provides tools to create rigged, animated vector mascots and characters using AI.
• Your Obligations: You must be at least 16 years old. You may not upload infringing content, use a real person's likeness without consent, or create unlawful, sexual, hateful, or harassing material.
• Payments & Credits: Paid plans are processed by Paddle. Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets each month and does not roll over.
• Liability: The service and AI outputs are provided "as is." Our liability is limited.
• Disputes: We prefer to resolve issues informally. Otherwise, disputes are handled through arbitration, though you have a 30-day window to opt out.
• Termination: You can cancel at any time. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

1. Welcome & Agreement#

Welcome to Lumorig. We provide a web application, REST API, Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, and Command Line Interface (CLI) that help you create rigged, animated vector mascots and characters using artificial intelligence.

By registering for an account, accessing our API, or otherwise using Lumorig, you are agreeing to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. If you have any questions about these terms, you can contact us at hello@lumorig.com.

2. About Our Service#

Lumorig allows you to generate and animate characters using Anthropic's Claude AI models.

To use Lumorig, you must be at least 16 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

We are constantly improving Lumorig, which means the service may change over time. We may add or remove features, adjust API rate limits, or introduce new limitations. While we strive to keep the service running smoothly, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse our systems.

3. Your Account#

You can create an account using your email address or through optional single sign-on (SSO) providers like GitHub and Google.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering.

Account sharing depends on your plan. The Free and Maker plans include one seat. The Studio plan includes 3 seats, allowing multiple users to collaborate. You may not share individual account credentials with others to bypass our seat limitations or pricing structure. You can terminate your account at any time through your account settings.

4. Acceptable Use#

We want Lumorig to be a safe and creative environment. When using our service, you agree not to:

• Create content that infringes on the trademarks, copyrights, or intellectual property rights of others.
• Use a real person's likeness without their explicit consent.
• Impersonate real people, brands, or organizations.
• Generate or upload content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or harassing.
• Attempt to bypass our API rate limits or credit systems.
• Use the service to generate spam or distribute malware.

If you violate these rules, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without a refund.

5. Content & Intellectual Property#

What You Own: You own the characters you create using Lumorig and any original content you upload to our platform.

What You Grant Us: To provide the service, we need certain permissions from you. You grant Lumorig a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, and process your uploaded content and generated characters strictly for the purpose of operating, securing, and supporting the service.

Your Responsibilities: You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions for anything you upload to Lumorig.

6. AI Content and Training#

Lumorig's generation features are powered by Anthropic's Claude. Because of the nature of artificial intelligence, please be aware of the following:

• No Training on Your Data: We respect your privacy and intellectual property. The license you grant us is strictly to operate the service. We do not use your uploaded content or your generated characters to train AI models.
• Output Variability: AI output is provided "as is." The characters or animations generated for you may resemble works generated for other users or existing third-party works.
• Review Required: AI can sometimes produce unexpected or inaccurate results. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated output before relying on it, publishing it, or using it in commercial projects.

7. Payments, Credits & Billing#

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment processing, billing, and applicable taxes.

Plans and Credits:

• Free Plan: Includes 200 credits per month for personal use. Embeds include a small "Made with Lumorig" badge.
• Maker Plan: $12/month (or discounted yearly). Includes 1,200 credits per month for commercial use, with no badge.
• Studio Plan: $36/month (or discounted yearly). Includes 3,600 credits per month and 3 seats.

How Credits Work: Credits are a monthly usage allowance included in your plan. They reset at the beginning of each billing cycle, do not roll over to the next month, have no cash value, and are not sold separately.

• Actions that consume credits: Generating a new character, rebuilding from an upload, creating custom motion, editing, generating variants, and creating scenes.
• Free actions: Using presets, recoloring, using canvases, and exporting do not consume credits.

Refunds and Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. We will notify you in advance of any price changes to your subscription.

8. Privacy#

Your privacy is important to us. Our data processing practices, including how we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

We use only strictly necessary cookies (see our Cookie Policy) and rely on trusted third-party sub-processors, including Vultr (hosting), Cloudflare (DNS), Resend (email), Anthropic (AI), and Paddle (payments). We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by US state privacy laws.

9. Confidentiality#

Both you and Lumorig may share non-public, confidential information with each other during the use of the service. Both parties agree to protect this information with the same degree of care used to protect their own confidential information. This obligation does not apply to information that is already public, was independently developed, or is required to be disclosed by law.

10. Disclaimers & Limitations#

Lumorig is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumorig shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid to Lumorig in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability exceptions for consumers; in those areas, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification#

By You: You agree to indemnify and hold Lumorig harmless from any claims, damages, or legal fees arising from the content you upload, your violation of these terms, or your misuse of the service.

By Us: Lumorig agrees to indemnify and hold you harmless from any third-party intellectual property claims arising directly from the underlying technology of the Lumorig platform itself (excluding claims related to your specific uploads or the specific AI-generated output).

12. Service Levels#

While we use reliable infrastructure providers to keep Lumorig running smoothly, we do not currently offer a financially backed uptime commitment or Service Level Agreement (SLA) with service credits.

13. Force Majeure#

Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these terms due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, government regulations, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or widespread internet or power outages.

14. Beta and Preview Features#

From time to time, we may offer features labeled as "beta," "preview," or "experimental." These features are provided entirely "as is" for testing purposes. They may be changed, suspended, or withdrawn at any time without notice, and they are excluded from any standard service commitments or warranties.

15. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Opt-Out#

Informal Resolution: If you have an issue, please contact us at hello@lumorig.com first. We will try to resolve the dispute informally.

Arbitration: If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, both parties agree to resolve any claims relating to these Terms or the Service through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court. Small claims court is an exception if your claim qualifies.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If this class-action waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this arbitration agreement shall be void as to that specific claim.

30-Day Opt-Out: You have the right to opt out of this arbitration agreement. To do so, you must notify us in writing at hello@lumorig.com within 30 days of creating your Lumorig account.

16. Changes & Termination#

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a prominent notice in the app before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Lumorig at our discretion, particularly for violations of our Acceptable Use policy.

17. Data Export and Deletion on Termination#

If your account is terminated (by you or by us), you will have a 30-day window from the date of termination to export your generated characters and uploaded data in our standard supported formats. After this 30-day export window expires, your data will be permanently deleted from our active systems.

18. General Legal & Order of Precedence#

Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws applicable to our primary business operations, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you are a consumer in the EU or California, you may also have rights under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, respectively.

Severability & Entire Agreement: If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lumorig regarding the service.

Order of Precedence: If you are an enterprise customer and have signed a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA), Data Processing Agreement (DPA), or Order Form with Lumorig, those documents will take precedence over these Terms of Service in the event of a conflict.
